Notes
New Order's eighth single and their second and last exclusive single for Factory Benelux. Released in May 1984. Both tracks are instrumentals. Murder features samples of dialogue from the movies "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Caligula". It was originally recorded in Winter 1982 during the sessions for the band's second album [m=4071]. Peter Saville's cover art is a "night-time" version of the "Thieves Like Us" cover, and is also taken from [[artist:2286506]]. Produced by New Order, and originally recorded at Britannia Row Studios. Peaking at #92 of the UK singles charts, it was the only single not entering the Top 75.
