UK only release, issued 20 November 1989 as EP on 7" (Fac 242/7), 12" (Fac 242), cassette (Fac 242c) and CD (Facd 242). First charted on 25 November 1989 at position 30, and peaked at position 19. Stayed in the UK Top 100 for 27 weeks. The 7" was released in an embossed 'Madchester' on black background, numbered gatefold sleeve, with the spare panel planned to hold the remix 7". The 12" was released in embossed and non-embossed sleeves, with 'Madchester' on black background. The remixes were released on 27 December 1989 on 7" (Fac 242r/7), 12" (Fac 242r), cassette (Fac 242rc) and CD single (Facd 242r). 'Madchester' is each in different letter colours on black background (7") and on a coloured background. Several white labels and a CD radio only promo exist. The Central Station designed 'Madchester' artwork was also used for the [r=786562] video (Fact 262). Outside the UK, the release was released as [m=11022] (Fact 260), containing all UK tracks and remixes but replacing the 'In Out Mix' with 'W.F.L. (Think About The Future Mix)'.
