"4 Ambient Tales", released in November 1993, was BRM's first true solo release after Electribe 101 had disbanded. Tracks originate from songs Billie wrote with Francis Lee Martin (Franz Stegman) for their late 80s duo 'The Idiot Cards' in Berlin. "Wishing You Well" was a contender for the second & unreleased Electribe 101 album – like "[m=20980]", released only a few months earlier. Production on the EP is by The Grid, who a few months later would produce Billie's worldwide hit "Your Loving Arms". In 1999, The Grid's Dave Ball would also produce "Honey" with Ingo Vauk – who appears here as mix engineer. The "Tales" re-release CD (5/00) also includes the instrumental versions that in 1993 only appeared on vinyl.
