Blackground Entertainment is an American record label, owned by entertainment attorney and artist manager [[artist:348491]] and his son [[artist:171166]]. Initially founded in 1993 as [[label:70430]] to release music by [[artist:348491]]'s niece, [[artist:13733]], it switched distribution deals over time and was renamed [[label:22430]] in 2000. Please look up the logo on a specific release carefully to distinquish which one of these three labels should be used.
