The New Order was a one-off release mostly consisting of a field recording. The name was most likely chosen to protest the pop group [[artist:3909]] using that name (it was originally the name of a post-[Stooges](http://www.discogs.com/artist/39770-Stooges-The) group) and to cause confusion. Likewise, William Bennett added extra names to the cover. [[artist:Genesis P-Orridge]] was certainly not involved, and was very mad about the release - making it a point to visit shops and destroy the covers. It is stated in the Come Organisation anthology's accompanying book that [[artist:185137]] was also not involved in the release.
