Television Power Electric is an extension of [[artist:TV Pow]]: Brent Gutzeit, Michael Hartman and Todd A. Carter works with a rotating cast of friends, recording improvisations for a day or two with them, and later editing and remixing those materials to produce an album.

TVPE had three installments so far: first chapter was recorded at Chicago in October 1998 with [[artist:Aeron Bergman]], [[artist:Otomo Yoshihide]], [[artist:Jim Baker]], [[artist:Ernst Karel]] (known as *Ernst Long* at this time) and [[artist:Robert Wilkus]]. Second album was recorded with [[artist:Boris Hauf]], Ernst Karel and [[artist:Toshimaru Nakamura]] in 2002 at Chicago. 'Television Power Electric 3' was recorded two years later at Spain with [[artist:Xabier Erkizia]] and [[artist:Iñigo Telletxea]].
