Funky house music band from Marseille, France. After the success of "New Jersey" as [[artist:Dealers De Funk]], the previous trio released several club tracks on the [[label:Fiat Lux]] label. The album "Hold Up" (2000) followed, which contained the original versions of club favourites "Last Dance", "Lucky Star", and "The Young MC". Shortly after, [[artist:Fafa Monteco]] (aka [[artist:Fabrice Texier]]) left the trio to concentrate on a new job in Radio RFM, Paris. The duo made a comeback in 2018 - fuelled by the rebirth of [[label:Black Jack]] Records, which relaunched for its 20th anniversary - with [[artist:Stephane B]] (aka [[artist:Stéphane Bonan]]) fronting as a DJ. Unfortunately Stéphane died in August 2020, leaving [[artist:Mike 303]] (aka [[artist:Hamdi Hassen]]) the only member left behind the Superfunk project.
