Satoshi Tomiie

Satoshi Tomiie is a Japanese DJ and producer based in New York. He had early success in 1989 with "[m=61791]," a co-production with [[artist:Frankie Knuckles]]. In the early 1990's, he toured with [[artist:Ryuichi Sakamoto]], and has become known for remixes of artists including [[artist:U2]], [[artist:Mariah Carey]], [[artist:Photek]], [[artist:Simply Red]], and [[artist:David Bowie]]. At the turn of the millennium, Satoshi introduced a new club sound via 1999’s "[m=86868]," album that helped define a developing house scene. The single "[m=86910]," became a worldwide underground hit. In 2015 he launched new label [[label:Abstract Architecture]] and released his 2nd album "[m=855842]"
