Jamaican deejay born in Spanish Town, Jamaica on 23 March 1945*****. He ran his own label, [[label:Cry Tuff]]. The Voice of Thunder was shot dead at his home in Kingston on September 15th 1983*****. He was 38 years old.

****** According to his wife, his date of birth was 23rd of March 1945, and the generally known date of his passing was 15th of September 1983. His [gravestone](https://www.instagram.com/p/DCSO5MNPYkI) indicates different dates for his birth (25th of March 1945) and day of his passing (8th of September 1983). It is possible he died the 8th of September 1983 and was buried a week later.*
