Born in Elyria, Ohio.

Apart from her work on the first [[artist:Chic]] album, she has sung as backing vocalist on a lot of recordings of such artists as [[artist:Randy Crawford]], [[artist:Will Downing]], [[artist:Aretha Franklin]], [[artist:Fantasy (2)]], [[artist:Luther Vandross]], [[artist:Madonna]], [[artist:Sister Sledge]] etc.

Her only studio album was produced and arranged by [[artist:Bernard Edwards & Nile Rodgers]] in 1978.
