KIKOMAN is a Michigan-based Techno pioneer who proudly lives, works, and creates his music right out of the Great Lakes State. A versatile, sophisticated, and innovative DJ & producer, he has earned massive domestic and international respect within the HJouse and Techno communities—and he is guaranteed to rock the house wherever he plays.

In 1996, KIKOMAN founded the acclaimed [[label:Deepfried]] record label, solidifying his status as one of Grand Rapids' premier electronic producers and anchoring the imprint as one of the best in the Midwest. His forward-thinking tracks have been picked up by heavy-hitting global labels like [[label:Missile Records]], [[label:Contact]], and [[label:Dum Records]], earning him a reputation worldwide for bringing crowds to life across the United States and overseas.

Building on that momentum, KIKOMAN launched [[label:Rhumba Muzik]] in 2002. The label made massive waves worldwide before filing for a $4 million Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2011. Following the shutdown, the label's physical catalog completely vanished from store shelves, turning those rare Midwest vinyl pressings into highly sought-after collector's items.

KIKOMAN isn't done shaping the sound of the region. He is currently sitting on a massive vault of unreleased music. "This is not all I have to say musically," KIKOMAN says. "I have so much unreleased music that is ahead of its time. The outlet to release new music is affirmative, but no date is concrete."
