In 1987 he replaced [[artist:Bobby Brown]] in [[artist:New Edition]].

Has duetted with [[artist:Stacy Lattisaw]], [[artist:Shabba Ranks]], [[artist:Roger Troutman]] and [[artist:Shanice]]. He has released seven solo albums and one with [[artist:Stacy Lattisaw]].
