About John Acquaviva

John Acquaviva (born 19 November 1963) is an Italian-Canadian DJ, producer.

He met with [[artist:Richie Hawtin]] in 1989 and they founded [[label:Plus 8 Records Ltd.]] in 1990. John also had a short lived label called [[label:Flavor Records (3)]] which showcased area Rap acts. Recent projects include the development and introduction of FinalScratch.

Ran [[label:Definitive Recordings]] since 1992.
