American electronic label. (for unofficial releases of this label use: [[label:Shadow Records (16)]].) Shadow Records was launched in 1995 as an [[label:Instinct Records]] sublabel, focused on the more organic side of the underground electronic music scene. In addition to introducing artists like [[artist:DJ Krush]] and [[artist:DJ Cam]] to the North American market, Shadow also had a two year partnership with British label [[label:Ninja Tune]], releasing early work by artists such as [[artist:Funki Porcini]], [[artist:DJ Food]], [[artist:Up Bustle & Out]], and [[artist:9 Lazy 9]].
