About Jérôme Noetinger

French sound curator and in situ artist.

Born 25th April 1966 (Marseille, France), Jérôme Noetinger followed his musical training in electroacoustic music under the direction of [[artist:Xavier Garcia]] in Grenoble (France) from 1986 to 1988.

Noetinger founded [[artist:Cellule D'Intervention Metamkine]] (Metamkine intervention cell) in 1987, with French cinematographer/performer [[artist:Christophe Auger]] and [[artist:Xavier Quérel]].

He has collaborated with longtime partner [[artist:Lionel Marchetti]] since 1993 and [[artist:Mathieu Werchowski]] (1997-1998). He has performed with [[artist:Nachtluft]], [[artist:Voice Crack]], [[artist:Tom Cora]], [[artist:Michel Doneda]], [[artist:Lê Quan Ninh]], [[artist:214396]], [[artist:Emmanuel Petit]], [[artist:Marc Pichelin]], [[artist:Jean Pallandre]], [[artist:Dominique Répécaud]], [[artist:Peter Hollinger]], [[artist:Keith Rowe]], and avant-improv orchestra [[artist:MIMEO]] (since 1997).

Noetinger founded and runs record label and distributor [[label:Metamkine]] (curating its [[label:Cinéma Pour L'Oreille]] collection) and is currently a member of the editorial board of French magazine Revue & Corrigée.
