Jérémie Mondon (aka [[artist:Demon]]) is a French electronic & hip hop producer.

Co-founder of the French house music label [[label:20000st]], created with [[artist:Tukula Da Silva]] & [[artist:Julien Creuzard]] ([[artist:Jayrockz]]).

Jérémie Mondon, also known as [[artist:Demon]], is a French composer and producer born in Paris in 1977. His music combines house, funk, and hip-hop elements. His musical journey began in childhood, sparked by the music shared with him by his grandfather, including artists like Depeche Mode and Mel & Kim. Mondon developed a passion for hip-hop during his teenage years. Although he had no formal music education, he began learning instruments at around 11 or 12 after piano lessons. He acquired a Roland D5 synthesizer to practice since he had no piano at home. In 1997, during the rise of rap music genre in France, Mondon produced an underground album called "Prophétie" for his rap group [[artist:Symbiose]] and released his first House EP "A-Typique" using his [[artist:Demon]] moniker. He co-founded the French house music label [[label:20000st]] with [[artist:Tukula Da Silva]] and [[artist:Julien Creuzard]] (aka [[artist:Jayrockz]]). His EP "Electronic Boogie" was released in April 1998, followed by his first LP, "Midnight Funk," in 1999, which included the international club hit "You Are My High". The track's highly provocative music video (featuring adult actress of the time [[artist:Draghixa]] performing a languorous French kiss on a man in an interupted 2'30 sequence shot) gained significant attention and led to his nomination for "Best French Act" at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2002. Mondon also worked on remixes for various famous artists and later shifted to producing for the French rap scene, focusing back to his first love, after releasing his second album, "Music That You Wanna Hear," in 2004.
