DJ Adolphe is an iconic figure in the techno scene in France and Belgium.

In the 1980s Adolphe started spinning at small parties in local cafés and clubs, in Lille, the North of France.

His passion for electronic music was contagious, attracting the attention of many techno enthusiasts. His unique style and ability to read the crowd quickly earned him a growing reputation.

Between 1990 and 2005 Adolphe took the reins of “USA IMPORT,” a trendy record store that became the beating heart of the techno music scene around Lille.

In 2000 he founded the legendary [[label:Babaorum Records]] label.
