The Querques is a two (sometimes three, sometimes four, but in reality one) man project by some really nifty Japanese cats who met up with Murph at UNM. They wanted to do a pop album in Japanese so Murph helped them and we put it on the NQuit label because heck, these guys were neat guys and they had their own funding and they always brought presents to the sessions. This isn't in the genres we normally work in; it's upbeat hyper-positive pop all in Japanese with happy-town type melodies, but even though we don't normally do this genre, the man behind the song writing and sequencing, Hideki Imai, is actually quite amazing at what he does, and the song writing and sequencing is really excellent.
