Misinterpreted is a musical exercise along the lines of the Exquisite-Corpse (Cadavre Exquis) game of the Surrealists (c.1920s). In the game, an original work is produced [track 1] and passed along to another artist, who uses it as a building block to produce a new original work [track 2]. Only the new work [track 2] is passed along to a third artist who then reinterprets it [track 3], et cetera. Thus, each participant in the chain only knows the previous work in the chain.
4 different picture-sleeves exist, Red, Blue, Green, and Black lettering.
