Liner notes

Based on field recordings done in January 2002 at the seashore in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Recordings were edited by Keith Fullerton Whitman to five separate waves, processed through a highly concentrated SVP (super phase vocoder) algorithm, into which he plugged in the root note values of each wave as sensed by a pitch-tracking Max/MSP patch.
