Featuring two 'rhythmic' tracks that were recorded during the 'Teilmengen' sessions (which appeared on CD as 'a-Menge' and 'b-Menge' and a next part to follow on Ritornell) but were not used for these albums as Tietchens regarded them as too different to the other pieces and therefore decided to put them out on their own. Album title based on a slip of tongue: from Leuchtdioden (light-emitting diodes) to Leuchtidioten (light-emitting idiots). Titles inspired by Andreas Prögel ("How could I possibly thank him ?"). Aufgenommen in den [Recorded in the] Audiplex Studios, Hamburg. Limited edition of 500 copies. The first 100 copies come on yellow vinyl, the remainder on black (this). Comes with a label insert announcing forthcoming Asmus Tietchens CD re-releases; some copies also have a Leuchtidioten postcard.
