Inlay: All tracks written by Drummond [Warner Chappell Music Ltd] & Cauty [BMG Music Ltd] 1987 Tracks 1, 3 & 4 Mixed @ Olympic, London by Mark 'Spike' Stent. Track 2 Mixed @ Konk Studios, London by Keven Paul/The Jams Acid Brass is an artistic concept by Jeremy Deller © O Holy Spirit, Who didst brood, Upon the waters dark and rude, And bid their angry tumult cease, And give, for wild confusion, peace: O hear us when we cry to thee, For those in peril on the sea. Jeremy Deller had an idea. The idea evolved. This is the result of that evolution. Part of the evolution included a project entitled Acid Brass involving the The Williams Fairey Band performing acid house anthem "What Time Is Love" originally recorded by The KLF in 1988. The Williams Fairey Band recorded at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool. The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu appear courtesy of The Five. Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond appear courtesy of K2 Plant Hire. "Kick Out The Jams" sample appears with kind permission of [[artist:137399]] & [[label:35282]]. Contains samples from "Theme From Shaft" performed by [[artist:48432]] courtesy of [[label:268137]] All original JAMs & KLF samples were taken from the album "[1987 [What The ***ks Going On?]](https://www.discogs.com/The-Justified-Ancients-Of-Mu-Mu-1987-What-The-Fucks-Going-On/master/63566)" and "[Who Killed The Jams?](https://www.discogs.com/The-Justified-Ancients-Of-Mu-Mu-Who-Killed-The-Jams/master/188508)" and the original 1988 Pure Trance version of "[What Time Is Love?](https://www.discogs.com/The-KLF-What-Time-Is-Love-Pure-Trance-1/release/92768)". Copyright on these is owned by The Sound Of Mu[sic]. ℗&© 1997 Blast First/Mute Records. Issued in a standard J-card case with insert. Originally issued with a 5"x5" "2K Merchandise" insert tucked inside.
