Made in England Recorded during February and March 1983 at various indoor and outdoor locations, using "The Zuccarelli Holophonic" TM Recording device, nicknamed "Ringo". No microphones at all were used in the recording of this LP. (according to the sleeve notes). Vocals on "Iron Glove" performed in San Francisco, via telephone. Initial copies included a limited edition 12" with 3 bonus tracks. These tracks were also included on the [[release:1020603]] 1983 cassette release, and were later released as bonus tracks on a [[release:147506]] CD reissue (with "The Mad Organist" and "Catalan" as one track). Comes with a printed inner sleeve. Pre-release promotional copies with Gold ink print on upper left corner of back sleeve: PROPERTY OF CBS DEMONSTRATION ONLY Not For Sale 'ZOS KIA CULTUS' etched on the b-side runout makes reference to the magical school developed by the occultist [[artist:965005]].
