Liner notes

The [original version](https://www.discogs.com/Snoop-Doggy-Dogg-Doggystyle/release/829287) of this album was released in November of 1993 with the track "Gz Up, Hoes Down". This version was released immediately thereafter without "Gz Up, Hoes Down" reportedly in response to a sample clearance issue of [[artist:Isaac Hayes]]' "The Look Of Love" being used on the track. Although it shares the same catalog number, labels, and cover as the [first pressing](https://www.discogs.com/Snoop-Doggy-Dogg-Doggystyle/release/829287), this reissue can be identified by the audio on side 'G', which unlike on the [initial release](https://www.discogs.com/Snoop-Doggy-Dogg-Doggystyle/release/829287), lacks "Gz Up, Hoes Down" and therefore only contains nine tracks, as well as by the corresponding runout groove where the "B" at the end of the matrix number was scratched out and replaced with a "C". Also reissued in 1996 with a new catalog number [(P1 50605)](https://www.discogs.com/Snoop-Doggy-Dogg-Doggystyle/release/446825). In addition to the removed track "Gz Up, Hoes Down", "Tha Next Episode" is also listed on the label of side G even though not present in the audio of this release or any other release. [....] Printed On Recycled Paper Track B1 "Who Am I (What's My Name)?" is based on [Atomic Dog](http://www.discogs.com/release/370565) by [George Clinton](http://www.discogs.com/artist/George+Clinton). The intro of track B9 "Pump Pump" is based on a conversation from the 1973 movie "The Mack".
