Named after producer [[artist:Eric Radcliffe]]'s house, where the album was recorded upstairs (they had to build a studio in ten days because [[label:Blackwing Studios]] was fully booked) from [[artist:Vince Clarke]]'s [[label:Splendid Studios]]. The "[[artist:Eric's Mum]]" vocal credit on the album belongs to Eric's mother who provided them all with "egg and chips" and also appeared on the record.
