First released on [[label:1623]] in 1988, there are two dominant versions of this release: the original 1988 issue with blue cover art, and a later 1992 reissue with a pink variation of the same artwork. In general, original 1988 releases include material from the first Art of Noise (AoN) lineup, album ([m=1937]) and label ([[label:159]]) with the remaining tracks taken from later singles released after AoN had reduced to a 3-piece and moved to China Records. LPs of the first issue included only 7" mixes, cassette a blend of 7" and 12" mixes, and CD only 12" mixes. Reissues and represses from 1992 updated the blue cover to a pink version and included only China tracks, generally replacing "Beat Box", "Close (to the Edit)", and "Moments in Love" with "Yebo", "Instruments of Darkness", and "Robinson Crusoe". Unlike the original issue, the majority of the pink reissues contained only 7" mixes on cassette and CD.
