First released in 1978, within a year three different versions had been made available. * The first issue on red vinyl [r=214513], and later black vinyl with grey labels. * A revised edition with the same track sequence, though approximately half the titles were fully or partially re-recorded**, the rest being remixed. This is the edition made available in most countries, e.g. [r=1043194]. * A US track sequence with further remixing on some tracks, e.g. [r=1797693]. ** The re-recording of tracks is not mentioned in the credits, only the remixing. In the UK, the black vinyl "remixed" reissue included (yellow) labels that identified Roger Bechirian as having remixed six of the tracks. However, not all the pressings actually used the correct stampers, resulting in the original mix being pressed instead of the remix. The matrices of the stampers carrying the correct remix versions are: A side: "LENE IS THE LEADER" S-7 SEEZ 7-1 SA. EG-. B side: IF IT'S LENE'S YOU'LL LOVICH! EG- STEVE S-6 SEEZ 7 B and also: A side: SAY WHAT S-6 SEEZ 7 A4 RM E.G.. STEVE. B side: SA.S-10 SEEZ 7 B4 RM E.G.. To further complicate matters, later pressings of the remixed version featured eight Bechirian remixes, with further remixing to the track "Say When", matrix: A 4 RM 'SAY WHAT STEVE' / SEEZ 7 B 4 RM Essentially, if the copy states "Steve" somewhere in the matrix, then it's a remixed version.
