Liner Notes

Rather than being a true sequel, this release has four tracks in common with the first [m=22852] album plus a different version of Inter-Lergen-Ten-Ko from the original. There are also two tracks taken from the [m=80344] EP on the Sabres' own label and two additional versions of Smokebelch II. From the Sabresonic 2 promo sheet: Sabresonic 2 is the re-release of Sabres of Paradise’s first album which was deleted over a year ago at the bands request as they were unhappy with the overall quality of the record. The current version keeps all the classics from the first album including RSD, Still Fighting, Clock Factory and a new version of Inter-Lergen-Ten-Ko. Added to this are three version of Smokebelch including the original 13 minute epic and David Holmes Disco classic rework. The whole album is rounded off with a couple of overlooked B-sides in the shape of the Spaghetti Westernesque soundtracks of Return of Carter and Edge 6.
