The US releases inexplicably bear 1990 copyrights, but the UK release was in February 1991, and there is no evidence the song existed in the US prior to mid-1991. The matrix barcode on the US CD also suggests it was mastered in 1991. On the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, the song entered at #52 on 29 Jun 1991, then hit #49, #33, #25, #16, #12, #10 (peak on 10 Aug), #12, #17, #26, #35. On the Modern Rock chart, it entered at #29 on 03 Aug 1991, then hit #21, #19 (peak on 17 Aug), #21, #20, #28.
