Two different UK 12"s were released with different remixes, both named "Extended Version" and with no durations printed to distinguish them apart, • [12 EMI 5540](https://www.discogs.com/release/315857-Talk-Talk-Lifes-What-You-Make-It-Extended-Version) & [12 EMID 5540](https://www.discogs.com/release/357163-Talk-Talk-Lifes-What-You-Make-It-Extended-Version) - remixed by [[artist:90937]] ~ (8:16 to 8:26 depending on who measured it) • [12 EMIX 5540](https://www.discogs.com/release/1448802-Talk-Talk-Lifes-What-You-Make-It-Extended-Version) - remixed by [[artist:60622]] ~ (6:54 to 7:01). • 12" editions outside of the UK/America often carry a third remix, also titled, "Extended Version" ~ (6:36 to 6:40), as on the[ Italian 12"](https://www.discogs.com/release/1883679-Talk-Talk-Lifes-What-You-Make-It-Extended-Version), and these rarely contain any duration nor do they credit the remixer, but has been assigned to [[artist:90937]] but it is indeed a second mix of his and not an edit/shortened mix of his 8:16~8:26 mix on the UK 12 EMI 5540. [The US](https://www.discogs.com/release/539701-Talk-Talk-Lifes-What-You-Make-It-Extended-Dance-Version)/Canada retail 12"s have the [[artist:60622]] remix (12 EMIX 5540) on the A side and has the remix title as "Extended Dance Version" on the cover and "Extended Mix" on the label. Many subsequent reissues of the track has used "Extended Mix" instead of the more ambiguous and original UK title. [m=196712] was reissued by [[label:2294]] on 20 August 1990 with catalogue number R 6264, including new artwork and new remixes to promote the [m=26509] compilation album.
