'Keep On Jumpin' by Musique was first sampled by Todd Terry in the very first version of 'Jumpin', back in 1993 on 'The Unreleased Project Part 4'. This version also sampled 'Bostish' by Yello. The track went on to have an international success in the underground House clubs. In 1996, Todd Terry opted to cover the original version of 'Keep On Jumpin' by Musique with the help of two legendary vocalists: Martha Wash and Jocelyn Brown (who was also a member of Musique). The popular remix made for it by The Rhythm Masters was based on the 1993 version, while retaining some vocal elements from the new re-version. In this remix, the sample of 'Bostish' by Yello was replaced by another one from 'Bugged Out' by MURK In Association With The Big Band. The famous speech by Chuck Roberts ('My House') is also heard in the introduction. The track reached number one on the US Hot Dance Club Play in August of 1996. The UK House duo The Lisa Marie Experience also released their own version of 'Keep On Jumpin' approximately at the same time Todd Terry did, which was a top 20 hit in the UK, and peaked at #3 on the US Hot Dance Club Play. This version had all the samples recreated in studio by Andrew "Doc" Livingstone and Dave Lee.
