The very first version of 'Higher State Of Consciousness' was released in 1994 on a compilation called [m=156115] on the label Strictly Rhythm. A year later, the track was remixed and released as a single. The now famous 'Tweekin' Acid Funk Mix' is from that release, and sometimes labeled as the 'Original Mix', which is not the case. A batch of remixes followed in 1996 by Dex & Jonesey / Jules & Skins / Itty Bitty Boozy Woozy / Mr. Spring. The title was subsequently re-remixed in the later years as well.
