Apparently a tribute to his movies 'El Mariachi' (1992), 'Desperado' (1995) and 'From Dusk Till Dawn' (1996), 'Desperado' is a Latin rework of 'Disco's Revenge' credited (production and composition) to producer [Robert Rodriguez](http://www.discogs.com/artist/Robert+Rodriguez). DJ [Roger Sanchez](http://www.discogs.com/artist/Roger+Sanchez) (already using the alias [El Mariachi](http://www.discogs.com/artist/El+Mariachi)), [DJ Disciple](http://www.discogs.com/artist/DJ+Disciple) and Simon D. were involved in the project.
