Record Label
A division of [[label:Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc.]] Label introduced by [[label:5041]] in 1967 as a successor to [[label:100665]] for the release of folk, psychedelic and experimental music under the Verve brand. After laying dormant since the early 1970s, it was relaunched in 1988 by [[label:393116]] and became part of [[label:646808]] in the early 1990s. The label stopped operating after the merger of PolyGram and Universal in 1999, but was relaunched again in 2004.
