Former German House & Trance label, which turned to almost exclusively Rap, Hip-Hop and R&B artists in 2005. In 2007 was launched a new dance imprint called [[label:Sound Of Urban]]. Urban also marketed & distributed various music releases by labels like [[label:Kontor Records]], [[label:Superstar Recordings]], [[label:Vandit Records]], [[label:Strictly Rhythm]], [[label:Tracid Traxxx]] and [[label:Low Spirit Recordings]]. Urban was a division of [[label:Motor Music GmbH]] and is now a division of [[label:Universal Music GmbH]]. Please use in company section, when mentioned [[label:1505214]] Subnote - Guidelines: Please check the sublabels before submitting, since they often use the same LC. **Cat# guidelines:** The label and its distributors did some confusion by setting the URBDJ cat#s. In order to prevent different records listed under the same URBDJ cat#, **only add URBDJ cat#s that are imprinted on the cover/center label**.
