"Unknown Records" was founded in May 1994 by [[artist:Christian Gimbel]] and [[artist:Alexander Purkart]]. It was distributed via DMD. It existed between 1994-1997. At least the first three releases were limited to 1.000 copies (Source: Frontpage-Germany-Special, Summer 1994).
