Record Label
Talkin’ Loud was founded by DJs [[artist:8278]] and [[artist:10267]] in 1990. The label’s name was based on Peterson’s and [[artist:67717]]’s Sunday afternoon club session, “Talkin’ Loud And Sayin’ Somethin’” - better known amongst its patrons as simply “Dingwalls,” which was the name of the venue at the time in Camden, London - during the 1980s. Gilles ran the label for over a decade with [[artist:Paul Martin]] before he left the label in 2001. Versions of the original releases were later re-released by parent label Mercury under the [[label:123224]] branding.
