UK label founded by [[artist:Rob Deacon]], who later founded [[label:Volume]] and [[label:Deviant Records]]. Rob Deacon died September 8, 2007 in a canoeing accident. Conceived in the early half of 1986, building on the euphoria of [[release:209510]], Sweatbox has grown from being a part-time, bedroom based obsession, to full time occupation. In 1988 employing three full time staff, coping with a roster of six active artists, world-wide distribution, and reputation.
