1980s house label from Chicago, Illinois. Set up by [[artist:Alex Rojo (2)]] and [[artist:Robert Rojo]] in the garage of their parents house, the label also functioned as a distribution company and had a publishing department, [[label:Sunset Production & Publishing]]. The record label name was often shown as Sunset Records, Inc. on later releases. Whilst it may not have been as recognisable a name as Trax or D.J. International, Sunset Records Inc. was a important label in the early days of Chicago house music. An offshoot of a popular mobile disco formed by the young trio of [[artist:Matt Warren]], [[artist:Miguel Garcia]] and [[artist:Ralphi Rosario]] in 1985, Sunset were notable for blending the growing local dance music with influences from Disco, New Wave, Latin Freestyle and Industrial.
