Swedish record label founded 1997 by Swedish producer [[artist:StoneBridge]] in Stockholm. With distribution via Waako Records in New York to access the cool shrink wrapped US vinyl. Early successes include Blunt Funkers - The Hook, which was licensed to the UK and remixed by [[artist:Tall Paul]] along with [[artist:Robbie Rivera]] - The Ultimate Disco Groove, both huge club hits in London. A young man by the name of Axel Hedfors came with a funky broken beat EP that [[artist:StoneBridge]] picked up and remixed. They also decided the artist name Oxl was not up to scratch so the label is proud to be part of the birth of a superstar by releasing Axwell's first single 'Like A Jazzplayer'. After a brief excursion to the UK and a sub label called StoneBridge Recordings in 2000, the label was back with [[label:Waako Records]] until 2005, when [[artist:StoneBridge]] signed a deal with [[artist:Armada]] for distribution and marketing of [[label:Stoney Boy Music]]. A new era started and saw the release of two [[artist:StoneBridge]] artist albums, Music Takes Me 2007 and The Morning After 2010 and a string of big singles like [[artist:Oliver Moldan]] - Second Session, [[artist:THird Member]] - Let Everything Drop, [[artist:StoneBridge]] & [[artist:Wawa]] - Let It Go and [[artist:Jason Chance]] - Keep It Coming. In 2010, [[artist:StoneBridge]] decided to run the label independently and the first release in this set up was the smash [[artist:AstroShift]] ft [[artist:Krista Richards]] - Tonight, which was licensed to EDX and Armada for compilations all over. 2013 was a vintage year for the label with two [[artist:StoneBridge]] & [[artist:Caroline D'Amore]] singles, Music Man and Live Life, [[artist:StoneBridge]], [[artist:Matt Aubrey]] & [[artist:Holevar]] - Hold On and the epic [[artist:StoneBridge]] & [[artist:Chris Sammarco]] - Sthlm Sunrise. Scottish band [[artist:Fridge Magnets]] - Feeling Grows was the biggest release during the year with BBC Radio 1 and Swedish National Radio P3 support. Stoney Boy Music is run by StoneBridge Productions in Stockholm and is the home of artists like [[artist:StoneBridge]], [[artist:Luv Gunz]], [[artist:Caroline D'Amore]], [[artist:Silosonic]] [[artist:Fridge Magnets]] and many more and 2014 will present a new wave of big singles and new artists. Stoney Boy Music also distributes Dirty Harry Records (Sweden), launched in 2014.
