Record Label
[[artist:Neil Cooper (3)]] founded NYC's ROIR (short for "Reachout International Records") as a cassette-only label in 1981. The label has released an amazing amount of truly pivotal underground albums spanning a number of genres including punk, indie, dub, reggae, industrial and more. Many of their cassette releases were later issued on vinyl and CD. Some licensing credits also may read **ROIR Records** or **ROIR Records USA**. Also occasionally **ROIR Cassettes** is credited.
