Record Label
Rec Rec was a Swiss independent record label founded in Autumn 1979 by [[artist:1192958]] and [[artist:1437638]]. [[artist:2080025]] co-produced the records which were distributed by [Recommended Records (Switzerland)](https://www.discogs.com/label/754740-Recommended-Records-4), later renamed to [[label:271230]]. After the bankruptcy in 1997, the label was split into two companies, RecRec-Shop - the record shop - and [[label:339953]] - the distributor - with two new labels: [[label:60550]] and [[label:65953]]. In Spring 2008 the label & distribution closed. The record shop run by [[artist:1437638]] was still active until the end of 2020 when it closed down.
