Record Label
UK Garage label, established in 1998 by Matthew Coleman AKA [[artist:MJ Cole]]. Matt was not permitted to release records on other labels whilst signed to [[label:Talkin' Loud]] but revived Prolific in January 2004 when freed from this contract. [[artist:Andy Lewis (2)]] (of [[label:Locked On]] fame) was the label's A&R until PROPH 106 but left Prolific in summer 2005 to work on other projects. Label head from February 2006 was [[artist:DJ Charma]], owner of [[label:Stereohype Recordings]]. The label's last release was in 2013. MJ Cole established a new label, [[label:892 Recordings]] in 2016.
