Placktown Sounds was run by [[artist:Johan Bacto]], who was also responsible for [[label:Zync]], [[label:Skunkworks]], [[label:Mankind]] and [[label:Countdown 2000]]. Placktown Sounds had the short lived sub label [[label:Everyday]] and was part of the Diode Music group of labels. Defunct since 2002.
