American independent record label, currently based in Columbus, Ohio. It was originally founded in 1999 by [[artist:228939]] of [[artist:80297]]. The label formed a partnership with the German label [[label:19255]], serving as the North American outlet for European bands, signing them to distribution deals. Nilaihah (pronounced “nil-EYE-ah”) is an old English word meaning “poetics of the fallen”, and is named after the opening track of [[release:440503]].
