"Microdot Records" (sometimes as "Microdot Music" or "Micro Dot Records") is a South African label for psytrance and chillout music that evolved out of the [[label:74363]] cassette label (started in 1985). Run by [Jay Scott](http://www.discogs.com/artist/Jay+Scott+(2)), it has also branched into releasing dub, drum n' bass, tribal trance and other electronica.
