Formed in January 1990 by [[artist:Jeff Burns (4)]] after leaving his position as Vice President of A&R at [[label:CBS Records Canada Ltd.]] and was named after Burns' son. In July of that year two publishing arms were founded, [[label:Justin Music]] and Justin Songs. On March 28, 1992 Justin Entertainment Inc. changed its name to Burns Entertainment Inc. (aka [[label:BEI]]) as the result of a lawsuit by the Montréal label [[label:Justin Time]]. Distributed by [[label:MCA Records Canada]].
