Record Label
Italian record label, established in 1977 by [[artist:Oderso Rubini]] and based in Bologna. Initially active from 1979 to 1986–87, **Italian Records** primarily released 7"/12" singles and LP albums with New Wave, post-punk, synthpop/synthwave, italo-disco, hi-NRG, etc., and had a cassette division **[[label:Demo City]]** dedicated to experimental music. Also released some humorous bands and children's music. In March 2014, [[label:Expanded Music s.r.l.]] reactivated the label under the direction of [Ricky Persi](https://discogs.com/artist/566410) who stood behind [[label:3512]] in the 1990s. Italian Records, now distributed by [[label:Kompakt Distribution]], produces both 12"/LP records and digital releases with new material and reissues from original artists.
