Record Label
Record label owned by arranger/producer/composer team [[artist:Hugo Peretti]] and [[artist:Luigi Creatore]] (alias [[artist:295511]]). Originally founded as [[label:Avco Embassy]] (later [[label:Avco]] Records in 1969 by Peretti, Creatore and film producer Joseph E. Levine, Peretti and Creatore bought the company from Avco-Embassy Pictures in late 1975 and renamed it H&L. The label was closed in 1979. By 1984, the combined Avco/H&L catalog was acquired by [[label:Amherst Records]].
