For the record company and/or copyright credits, please rather use [[label:GTO records, Inc.]] (only when the legal suffix is printed on the release). **GTO Records** label was formed in 1974 by Laurence Myers, with a roster of artists including The Dooleys, Donna Summer and Heatwave. Myers' music production company, the [[artist:Gem Toby Organization]], provided the "GTO" acronym and Myers had also had previous success with his GTO Films company, sharing an involvement with the film 'Fatal Attraction'. The **GTO Records** label was sold to CBS Records in 1977 and ceased to appear after 1981 when its artists moved onto another CBS label, [[label:Epic]] Records. The GTO back catalog was subsequently acquired by Sony Music, that is now [[label:Sony BMG Music Entertainment]].
